Hello fellow SE users. I finally got myself another SE phone. Its been a very long time almost 1yr (z600i was pittiful). I could have gotten the z520 (BT I'll be missing) but the design was just to kiddish for my liking.

Got two questions.
1> Which phone is closely related to my z500a? I want to use new themes & wallpapers & such, but I find no reference anywhere on what themes are compatible - shameful here being the worlds most popular SE fan site (I've discovered this site almost 4 years ago). Can anyone help me please? (bare in mind I've been using a Nokia 6620 that I'm gonna service & sell).

2> I've been trying to find the successor phone to my old faithful T39m. The T68m/i>T616/610/637>K700>K750i. The z600>z500>z520. I would love to see nokia make a sweet thin phone no thicker than my z500a but in the design of the T39m yet evolved.

God I'm missing Bluetooth, but its all for a good cause. I now have dedicated volume keys and a clamshell. Plus I've gotta decide on 2 phones amongst the following:
P990i
W900i
K750i
N80 (upcoming Nokia)

Its pretty much narrowed down to the P & N because of the WiFi

I'd say to wait for the N80, it's top notch stuff. I've had the K750i, it's currently the best phone on the market but will be beaten by the NSeries range...

Well sure the N80 is gonna be nice but it isnt released yet - just announced. Until then a regular phone I'll have to get used to; well at least until I can trustfully order the W900i.

But the z500a IS an SE phone why is there so limited information on such a revered site about it?

Can anyone help on ...

Themes
Screensavers
Etc.

Z500 is not popular here cause only Z500a released in the America. But there are still some websites with screensavers and themes for the phone. Someone posted here a link months ago.

I've used the Z520i and for a small phone its fantastic.

Pros:

Battery life, camera, menu system. It is smooth , responsive and the screen is bright and colourful. It is more developed than the K700i and does not crash or slow down for me personally. Games are quick to load, design is great, external screen is readable.

Cons:

My battery cover comes loose, like shakes a bit. Screen is not 176x220 and the photos cannot be zoomed in when you are viewing them so it makes them look shite. thats it really, video quality is average for a sony ericsson.

buy this phone and you wont be dissapointed, my, unfortunately pink, other covers supplied with the phone dont move, so they are nice and sturdy but the white ones do. this is just a flaw that happens with all phones, just hope you get lucky.

The N80 is going to be heavy, bulky and expensive.

Thanks everyone for responding.

I never said that the z520 didnt have BT, but my z500a didnt. Hence why I'm missing it. I'm going to skipe the z520a because I hate the light gimmick & the design is just too avante garde for my tastes. Sure its got Bluetooth, but still no flash thus I think the cam isnt as good as the K700i.

N80 will be 137grams people, not that heavy at all especially for what it offers.

yet I think the P990i will do me well - still havent decided.

But my wife is upgrading next month to the K750i and I'll wait till Xmas for the W900i >> I want a walkman & phone in 1.
