I have a Belkin USB Bluetooth adapter and a wireless card. I notice that when I connect the BT to the usb port, i instantly lose the Wifi connection. Has anyone had this problem, and is there any way around it, or is it something inherent to the way the 2 standards work (i know they use the same frequency)?

If you change the channel you use for the Wi-Fi like drljames said you shouldn't have a problem

my homewifi is 5GHz (802.11a) so no problem there. My office is 802.11b/g but haven't had any problems yet. If you change the channel you change the frequency slightly, so that should sort it out.

I stopped getting the problem since I updated to the latest MSI drivers for the BT adapter. Also I notice it only used to happen when the wi-fi connection itself was very weak.
