Today BenQ-Siemens launched new handsets.
http://www.benq-siemens.com
The clamshell EF81 is a 3G,Tri-band handset with a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth,MicroSD slot and 64MB of internal memory. It's got the whole RAZR lookalike thing, with a slimline design and a "stainless steel keypad with electroluminescent foil illumination".The screen is 262K colour and 2.2 inches and it's got all the usual things you'd expect music player and video recording and playback.
The S68 is another skinny number at 13mm thick. It's aimed at business types and comes with business friendly features such as personal information management (PIM) functions for synching with your computer, Document viewers and Bluetooth. Because this one means business, you won't find a camera on board, since some companies aren't keen on them, but you will find a dictaphone and a USB connector for hooking up to your computer.
And finally, we have the S88, a phone that boasts a 2-inch OLED screen as well as a 2-mp camera, Bluetooth and PictBridge for easy photo printing. That means you'll be able to hook it straight up to your photo printer to print images without involving a PC. There's also an MP3 player and an MPEG video recorder and player. A MicroSD card slot's in place, along with 16MB of internal memory. It's also apparently got 3D surround sound.

Having a BenQ-Siemens could be quite novel until they die out and just have BenQ
None of them appeal to me though, the S88 seems to be coyping Nokia style buttons for the phone and softkeys

That's just what I was thinking , the S88 is very "Nokia" from the front, whereas the back is very K700 !

What can I say, I like them all.
Cool with pictbridge in a phone.
Also we can now say that all big companies catched up with se's k750/w800 and went beyond. 2" screens are getting pretty standard now.
So it's time for to show us the new ones.
March 7th anyone

Well, the S88 looks like a K750-wannabe to me. And all of them are actually interesting, but nothing really new.

I see a RazR ripoff, i see a nokia ripoff, i see a k750 ripoff...nothing original there, which is an immediate turn-off. The keypad on the razr lookalike is practically lifted from Moto's finest...whats the point?

Better software and user interface than the moto, hopefully. That's the one thing that's always prevented from getting another moto, I like the looks of some of the phones but the UI is uniformly dreadfull.
So if these have a better UI, I could well go for one.
