Industrial designer Jaren Goh has created his newest concept, the Black Diamond mobile phone for Sony Ericsson,Could this be Sony Ericsson's answer to Nokia's Vertu?I certainly hope so.

If it's not touch screen then it's probably very basic, basing on the keypad -- there's not even a joystick (or d-pad), no usual softkeys, back and Cancel keys.
resistance is futile. |

Its supposed to be a simple and minimalist design,I presume the joystick might be touch screen.

And have any of you noticed how it only has the SONY badge at the top.

That should have been the base design for the new P-series. The camera part also looks very good!

Wierd but beautifull! noticed these: # key doesnt' have the 'space' icon for text imput. don't know about touchscreen, but there doesnt seem to be a slot for a stylus. then the camera is placed on the left, like in T610, so it won't have the cyber-shot interface, no autofocus either. I REALLY want to see the specs. very misterious phone to me...

Looks amazing, but doubt it'll come out, or at least, anytime soon...
Incredible design though. |

cant be touch screen with that kind of screen casing... it probably use an alternative button feature. instead of up it uses the button '2', left '4', right '6', down '8'. select '5', softbutton '1' & '3'......

I think it is unimaginative myself.
I have never bought an phone for its styling and probably never will, and its also why I have never wasted my money on vertu
give me function over form anyday!
