Hi
I just ran by the icon-changing thread yesterday, and it really intrigued me. So, I'm making a complete Mac OS X Tiger version of the SE OS including theme,icons(Dock-type main menu),media player skin,screensaver,startup and shutdown sounds and images.
Currently, the icons are completely done, and the theme is almost done. Rest of the stuff should be done pretty quickly.
I'm posting a couple of preview screenshots now, will post some more with time.
Let me know if u like it.
Features-
- 15 Mac OS X style themes
- 2 OS X screensavers
- 14 OS X Wallpapers
- Custom OS X Boot, Startup and Shutdown images and sounds
- 6 OS X style menu layouts and icons
- iTunes media player skins for K750i and W800i
- New Fonts
Supported Phones(CID49 Phones not yet supported by FAR Manager)-
-K750i/W800i/W550i/W700i/K600i (Can use K750i themes, screensavers, wallpapers, and also icons via FAR Manager)
-W810i/W600i (Can use W810i themes, screensavers and wallpapers - No support for FAR Manager)
-K800i/K790i (Can use K800i themes and screensavers - No support for FAR Manager)
-W900i (Can use W900i themes and screensavers - No support for FAR Manager)

Changes in v1.4-
1. Updated layout.xml for better looking 'Write SMS' fonts
2. 14 Wallpapers added for all phones
3. All themes edited so user wallpapers can be used with statusbar and softkeys
4. All themes ported to W810i format
5. All themes ported to K800i and W900i formats(Except OS X Theme)
6. 3 new themes added - Aqua Blue Brushed Metal, Aqua Graphite Brushed Metal and Aqua Black Brushed Metal

P.S. I'm now using a custom theme and menu icons called "Aquadock", looks good but it's not the "real" thing... Your menu looks so real though...  |

I've changed quite a few items in the actual menus as well, so not everyone may be comfortable with it, but u'll just have to try it out and see |

Ok, i'll post the menu.ml file with icons now, so u can just see how its turned out. Working on the theme currently......i dont have another cam, so can someone PLEASE post some good pics of the icons on a suitable theme?

Thanks, I'll check it out, altough it's best to have a great matching theme to go along...
About the changes you have made... In case anyone starts complaining... Maybe you can make a version without these changes as well as mentioning what changes were made

OK I tried it and guess what??? It blew my mind off!!! OMG!!! Looks absolutely gorgeous! Being a Mac user myself I had no problems with your menu modifications and every modified menu name was familiar
I had to edit the menu.ml file in some spots to remove the unwanted icon that my SIM operator added to your "iLife" menu and also to properly display the "Utilities" icon... It shows up now but links to the Operator's page... I don't mind though
The theme I'm using is called "Aquadock" and it matches well with this iconset for now, I'm anxiously waiting for your actual theme and media player skin to make this look even cooler than it is now

P.S. Why wait for an Apple iPhone??? Get yourself a K750i/W800i instead

I'm having some problems with the theme now, but i'll fix it, dont worry....
Can I have some pics?
Also, I can't get the Playnow menu text to change to Utilities, nor can i get it to point to the Applications menu. Can anybody help me?
Also, I couldnt find the aquadock theme anywhere, I have to see how it looks on a proper theme. So can someone please gimme a link to the theme?

Thats a great job!! .. but i was wondering how will be able to make it work in my K750i?.. I downloaded the file and its all pics and i dont have a clue how to set the theme to my phone.. anyone could help plz? |

I think theres a thread in this forum with detailed instructions on how to do it, please check that
Anyway, i got the playnow button to work. Also, i've just figured out tht i can't use a background image with the dock icons. So, unfortunately, the background will just have to be a normal blue colour, otherwise there are problems at the top, where the menu title is displayed. If anyone has any solutions, please let me know |
