SEUS not finding P910i |

Hi all,
I have installed SEUS on a friends computer. I originally had issues with Java script whivh are now fixed. When the SEUS programme starts, it asks me to switch off phone and remove sim. I do this and place the phone back onto the cradle. SEUS that proceeds to do absolutly NOTHING. I have un-ticked the USB option on the Mrouter programme, so that's not it.
Any help ASAP would be very appriciated as I'm now stuck for time.
Many thanks in advance

You're not alone there, I had the same problem today so I think they messed something up with the new version of SEUS II (2.6.7.9).

Gonna BUMP this...
Has anyone else had problems with SEUS?
Or indeed, is it worth trying again this evening?

Bumpety bump bump....
Tried the new SEUS on three computers now and none of them are getting beyond the screen that requests that you take out sim etc. I have also tryed this with 2 P910's so am confident that it is SEUS.
Does anyone have any idea what the story is?
Thanks

It's a simple fix. In the "Phone Connection Link" click on Properties and UNCHECK the USB connection check box. When you're done, just check that box again. |

I've had problems with it for a while now. Tried different phones with it and it doesn't get past the screen with the SE animated logo and the animated green bars at the bottom after the language select screen. It hangs there regardless of if the phone's on, off, sim in or out.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, updating it, you name it and it still won't work!

@ feix.....That's not the problem as I already know to do this, but thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Hi,
I got the same error with my M600i. Screen with the SE animated logo and the animated green bars at the bottom after the language select screen. It hangs there and nothing happens.
I am using the USB cable that comes with M600i.
Any help would be appreciated. I want to update firmware but i could not. My language selection was Turkish. Can it be a problem?
Thanks.. |

I had this problem for months and lots of people tried to help but nothing really worked until recently.
The issue is with the virus protection program or to be more exact the firewall part of it. In my case Mcafee Firewall was forbidding SE Pc suite from recognizing the phone until I went in manually into it and allowed the program to be accessed. You should find that within the virus protection software you use.
