Is there any way i can move games from my old s700i to my new k800?
I have bluetooth, but no cables, and access to both windows and linux machines.

no, you need atleast a service cable for the S700, a DCU-60 cable for the K750, and FAR Manager and SEFP plugin to do the transfer.

or just find the original jar files! there are lots of sites out there where you can get them for free. you then have a hard copy of the game you can move here there and everywhere!

What happens if you have the game installed on your memory card and move the card to another phone? |

Most likely, the memory card does not fit in the new phone, since the designers constantly change the format of the memory cards. And the current tren is that they get smapper in physical size, ao an adaptor won't work either. I suspect that many former K750 owners have experienced that when they bought a K800, for example.
In theory, however, it should be possible to transfer a game from one phone to another this way. However, when you download a jar file to the phone's game directory, it's not just copied there, it is actually INSTALLED, which means that space is allocated in the phone's memory for savegame data etc. It is possible that the installation process also involves some kind of serial number that is associated with the phone where the game was installed. It has to be tested, however, before I can tell for sure though, and I don't have two phones with compatible memory cards.

If you have a memory card reader, move game to the card, then browse it on a pc, look for the game's .SIST file.
Copy that file to new card's OTHERS folder, then in new phone look thru file manager, check the file, should be installable...

as an alternative, you could also use the "GET JAVA FILE FROM PHONE" feature of the MYPHONEEXPLORER application (i forgot the actual name of the button). i currently have an S700, and i use that feature to make 'backup' copies of my favorite games to the PC. from the PC, i can transfer it to any other device that has bluetooth.
