W830, W858 and K320....are all still in the "comming soon"zone but these phones are ment for specific markets...not for the whole world...sooo we could see announcement soon...could we? |

I am still confused about this "port on the side" business. Will there be a whole new range of music accessories / speaker stands coming out?
Sub 1cm thinness is good.
Sounds like  are gunning for iPod. Lets hope they have got rid of the gaps between tracks.
Also, TrackID should be featured as well as the  2.0 player.
3GSM is in Feb 2007 so we can look out for an announcement just before then.

According to the one who posted this rumor it is not a twin brother of the recent leaked phone. He responded with this when I showed those pictures:
"No...I know this.
This one is ULTRASLIM and little like iPod NANO"
So it will be thinner and smaller then the one we saw on the photos. |

So no we wont see it before 3GSM in february although it was said it will on the market in 1Q...by the way SE does not hava any comming soon phones for the global/whole worlds market

Q1 is Jan, Feb and March. It does say "on the market" and not announced so going by the time between announcement to 'in the shops' I would guess at it being announced very early Jan 07.

Well this is the slim phone that we've been hearing about. Sounds really nice, but I do think that this'll be the brother to the K650. Not the same size, but in specs it sure sounds like it. The K650 can't be too much slimmer because of its auto focus.
There are SO many rumours with all these new SE phones. 40 new ones for next year! Perhaps I should roll them all up into one thread?

regarding AI i think it will bring the glory back to se like t610
Sofia cant compite with N95 in any way in term of high tech but i belive it will beat it on sale

yeah it makes sense...because eldar said that K650 is K800 with weeker cammera...so its slimmer walkman version will be the same as W850 in terms of spec....that is also what the person who first posted info about this phone wrote |

A 3.2mp cam without AF is a bit silly? I think a 2mp with AF is better than a 3.2mp without!  Does anyone agree?

No, a 3.2 megapixel photo, is a 3.2 megapixel image that has been taken by a sensor of 3.2 million individual pixels. Same goes for a 2 megapixel photo.
The only time when they upsize a photo digitally is in cheap no name cameras which promote 10 megapixels* at a very cheap price. The * means interpolated, which is when an image is upsized to a higher resolution. The resulting is no where near as good as a real image.
