topic updated with firmware details
first change noticed is that when connecting to USB I now get a prompt for mode ala K800 etc, i.e. file transfer or phone mode
this display also has options you can click on or off for USB charging and whether you want this display when you connect

yeah, when downloading the new firmware it got to about 30-odd % and then it started transferring to phone and seemed only to get to 50%
but all is well so I guess its just an SEUS client problem

sorry, I don't use blackberry connect so can't check that,
I have noticed that the media players "online" menu now also appears in the applications list
I still see no way to set a homepage in the browser

Anything about "your phone has restarted in order to improve preformance" bug ? Low sound when playing caller name in BT headset, anything about pixelrating the contact photo after some time ?
Tnx

@twolittleducks, yes, my phones are always non branded versions
@Vexii, I guess time will tell about the restarts for performance though I rarely get them anyway. I haven't got my bluetooth headset with me so can't test that either

I just updated using SEUS and I got:
Phone: CXC162037 R9A002
Bluetooth: CXC162058 R3A01
Organizer: CXC162071 R4C01
CDA: 162011/2 R4C01
This was after updating on 02/01/07. The update I got was 'World Generic 2'.
Hoping this helps someone, as I think this is the latest update. |

Your Organiser version doesn't appear to match that of the thread title. |

Phone is a lot lot faster, caller name in bluetoth headset very loud (hat to turn it down) pixelrating the contact photo still there & you still have to put in all the voice tabs again when you back up and restore. SE are getting there but by the time the firmwares 100% the phone will be obslete |
