V600i won't turn on |

I tried using my V600i yesterday but it wouldn't turn on. I changed the battery over tried charging it. When I tried charging a red light came on at the top of the phone. When I pushed the power button, the screen showed some signs of life but nothing happened afterwards. It's out of warranty and I don't want to flash it in any way in case the phone bricks it.
So what do I do..?

Do you think I could take it to a service centre and have them flash it?

if its under warranty, u get the flash for free. if not or its over, then u have to pay a certain amount, donnow how much. imo go to se first and then in indepenmdent mobile shops aswell, just for service price comparison

Hey, my V600i did exactly the same thing a couple of months ago - the following revived it:
I left it plugged in for a couple of hours with the battery charging (although no sign of this).
I then removed the power and took the battery out and left the phone for half an hour.
I then put the battery back in and plugged it in to charge it. The phone came on as usual.
No idea why this fixed it, but it did. I think I had let the phone really empty its battery charge. |

thats also a solution ( maybe it was just a temporary bug ), but no warranty that it wont happen again, so imo its better to check it anyway

it went dead right after I took delivery of my W810. I don't know what happened but there is some exposed circuitry right underneath the SIM card slot. It may have been that I touched that and static discharge killed the phone and damage from that would be unrepairable as everything inside would need to be changed but as I wrote in a previous post, there were some signs of life on the screen when I pushed power.
I'll try what Josh said though.
