This thing is f**king amazing!!
the iPhone has been announced today in collaboration with Cingular. Yeah, we said it: "iPhone," the name the entire free world had all but unanimously christened it from the time it'd been nothing more than a twinkle in Stevie J's eye (comments, Cisco?).
Sweet, glorious specs of the 11.6 millimeter device (that's frickin' thin, by the way) include a 3.5-inch wide touchscreen display with multi-touch support, 2 megapixel cam, 8 GB of storage, and 3G radio -- and amazingly, it somehow runs OS X. A proximity sensor disables the touchscreen when it's close to your face. |

Damn! Sony Ericsson is DEAD meat! I've GOT to have this!
p.s. I'd bet the reason it's not 3G (only quad-band and EDGE) is because it chews up battery life and there isn't much 3G in the 'ol US of A right now anyway. Suites me fine, my w810i is only EDGE anyway. |
