I think it is a great idea. When you say area, you say country, province, or both? I ask because I have a list of the first.

I wonder WHY the US of A always gets the TOP spot . . . almost about in EVERYTHING Even in the country-code they manage to GET the #1 spot . . . . +1 . . . do we have a country-code that has a +0 on it?

wiki has a very good country code listing, and not just dialling codes but also all sorts of other codes relating to the countries.

the sat fone codes should be separated from the country codes and in some lines more countries are next to each other.
