Symbian-Guru has the scoop on not one, but two unannounced new high-end Nokia handsets, the N81 (pictured on the left) and the N82 (pictured on the right).
The slider-style N81 looks it'll be the successor to their N91 musicphone (except less, uh, busted-looking) and sport a full 8GB of memory, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, quad-band EDGE and 2100MHz HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The N82 has a more traditional candybar form-factor and'll have a five megapixel camera with Xenon flash and auto-focus Carl Zeiss lens, quad-band GSM (doesn't say whether it'll be GRPS or EDGE, but we're guessing EDGE), 2100MHz HSDPA, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, integrated GPS, FM tuner, and a microSD memory card slot.
Doesn't sound like either will be out until Q4 of this year.

SE better get their stuff ready for the end of the year because it seems that Nokia is gonna produce several phones with great 2007 specs:
- Wifi
- 5 Mpixels cameras
- GPS
- Quadband Edge/HSDPA
While SE is still a bit 2006.

i hope this will get all SE fanboys to shut up about xenon flash. anyways, the phone looks like a real winner to me, just hope it isnt too expensive.
SE better wake up, if this is real, they're gone for good.

Mind you these phones are stated for Q4.
I believe SE has a few phones in the pipelines to be realeased on Q4, if not, it's gonna be damn hard to remain loyal.
Plus from the pictures, it seems the UI hwill change, interesting.
I just noticed Nokia took a small page from SE's book by adopting the tiny slim buttons (on the white phone)

@boba
i agree, i hate the W880 and T650 because of their horrid keypads. The N81 looks a real winner to me. |

maybe SE doesnt want to make highend phones because they dont want to suffer losses they did with W900, which quite frankly, was a failure as far as sales are concerned. |

Nokia is leaving the rest so far behind in high-spec phones. If Nokia can squeeze what N95 have + xenon into size of N73, then the N82 will surely be another hit (like the N95).
(darn, there isnt much fun to be had in a N82 vs. xxx thread as the competitions will be so handicapped against the N82 (as is the case of N95 vs xxx).
