An FM transmitter which plugs in to the fast port on SE phones and transmits audio via FM to an FM receiver. It is powered by the phone.
It can be used, for example, to listen to music on ones phones sing the car speakers or a home HiFi system wirelessly. |

hard to see but it might be a bit thinner than mmr-60. other difference, picture wise is the "cap" and this doesnt a pass thru fast port connector like the mmr-60. picture of mmr-60 shows pass through so you could say charge phone while broadcast music...

The reviews of the first one weren't too good either from what I can remember. They put me off buying one.
Its a handy thing though, especially in the car.

Got the MMR-60 and I guess with this one the problem will be the same : Find a free frequency.
As long as I'm around my home no problem but specially when I hit the motorway (traffic info), no free frequencies available. It is a pity that these transmitters don't allow 87.0 or 108.0 frequency as these would be great. |

i had the MMR-60 and it was fine in the car, just used 107.9 as it always seemed to be free...

Has anyone purchased this and tried it out. A quick review of how it performs would be great!
Thanks!

Just a later version I think, it doesn't do much just transmits an fm signal. Hopefully, like masseur says, they have improved the range.

Well, i finally exchanged my mmr-60 for the new mmr-70, mainly because the older model does not like smartphones!
Main differences i found:
Does not bring the cool metalic box that come with mmr-60
Music info appears on the radio screen when connected, if you want (super cool!)
Caller info also appears on the radio screen when connected
About the sound quality and signal strength i donīt thing there are too many changes...i think people that have a working mmr-60 (works fine on non-uiq phones), should not upgrade

Ah, sounds good now, especially the caller ID / track info.
