is it my phone or my memory card please help |

I have a k800i and i brought my self a sony 512 m2 memory card.This worked fine untill a few days ago but now every time i switch the phone on it asks if i want to format the card and if i say yes it formats it then says the card is not inserted and if i say no it still says "no card inserted".Please can anyone help is it my phone or the card? both are only a few weeks old thanks |

Update i cleaned the connections on my memory card and it seems to be working now thanks |

bring your fone to SE Service Center to upgrade the firmware. i am afraid you got the old firmware on your fone.

Thanks mate so its the phone(as in it needs a software update)and not the card i sak this because the *******thing has done it again and now it will not show the memory card at all p.s anyone no the nearest se place in nottingham |

It is not necessarily the phone. If you bought this memory stick recently, perhaps on ebay, you might have gotten a fake one!
Fakes display a behaviour like you describe!

Thank you for that but all i get is the name of the review but nothing else i will try it in my pc and email the seller and yes it was off ebay |

One other thing could you please let me no how i find what software i have on my phone then i will post it on hear and you could tell me if its up to date.As far as i can tell everything else on the phone is working ok |
