Good idea swazi, he we all write in sheer numbers, SE WILL surely sit up and take notice. Give up the address and tell us when u are going to send it. Get other members to do it too. I will do my best.

@laffen, yes, i would really like to know how much money would fill this gap. For instance, how many members donating, say, $20 do you need to keep this site alive for, say, a year more???

I think many members will view this as a final wake-up call.
My suggestion to you is to post what money is needed to keep the site going for the medium term (maybe 3-6 months).
I would then suggest you post a running total of donations received. Potential doners need to see that their help is likely to suceed. As the money goes up and reaches its target more people will be encouraged to respond if they think there is a chance to suceed.

I sent a request to  about sponsorship for the three next months back in august. Haven't heard much about this yet. The application was sent from department to departmet, and no one was able to take the decision. Some very interesting advertisers is launched this week, but this does not help much if we don't get hold of some hard cash within the next two weeks. Daily expenses is approx $45 and we have to pay 3 month ahead now in December. |

As I suspected... any routes that involve sponsorship etc... will only be effective in the long term.
Money is needed now - so be high profile about it, Laffen. You have nothing to lose. Post a total of whats coming in and what is needed on a daily basis for the next 2 weeks. Within a few days you should be able to see if its going to work... |

Ok, so if about 200 members make a $20 donation as soon as possible, we should be able to keep the site running for 3 more months.... That shouldn't be too hard, should it?
