I agree with cytech what will i do if the best thing on was and internet goes down? And make this post stick to the top and stay there so everybody can see it and take messures no talk just pay the man so he can keep esato alive...

how about $20 membership and $5/month.. so there would be regular and stable cash flow for whatever maintenance and servicing Esato would need |

@anyone... I think brainstorming is a good idea but not now. Now its about surviving through hard cash so everybody put ur money where ur keys are and leave the brainstorming for later. Because if in not wrong laffensquite busy now saving this place for us to be in... Sorry if im sounding harsh. Not intended...;-)

Yes, keep it running, everyone should be able to donate $20 if not more. Esato helps a lot of people and all the help I've been getting or giving on this site sure is worth a lot.
EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY REGULARS, PLEASE DONATE!!!!!
It might not solve it in the long run but it at least it will keep the site running until a better solution is reached.

Oh no this is really bad news . laffen yes if u post bank details it'd be better to make an account transfer which also saves you money as you get all the money unlike paypal who keep a % of it.
Another suggestion is to give out everyones' e-mail addresses to junk mailers. I wouldn't mind but I'm not sure if anyone else would mind?
So u need $16425 per anum & ther are over 10k members. If each mebmer donated $2 this site could stay alive no problem!

Begging people to donate money is a bad idea; that's not how a site should be run. Begging big companies for donations is not good either.
What you need to do is find feasible partners; like expansys and commercially run sites for gadgets and mobile things. Anything that expansys specializes in.
In order to sell anything at all you need to formulate distinguished offerings and try to sell those to as many potential partners as possible. There are probably banner-networks already which can help you.
I am rather interested in helping commercialising esato. |
