Old thread? Eh? I'm glad to be a non smoker these days. My mates really do my head in with their smoking now the ban is in place. Why do i have to suffer the wind and rain just so they can smoke. How about they don't smoke for a night and we sit inside the pub for a change... |

Actually for once I felt lucky being a non-smoker as I just got back from Rileys (Snooker Club)... Usually it would be smokey and hard to breathe at this place but since the ban I guess its been all nice and clean as it was today although some people were still going to the toilets for the fag.
On the other hand I do feel sorry for the smokers and some organisations that might be losing a lot of money because of this ban.
I've been away for 3 months so I've just recently found out about the ban.. When I was myself smoking at a public place (even though im not a regular smoker)

Not good enough....................................................
Social smokers can be just as bad. When my mum makes me go to a "smoking party" a.k.a. the birthday of one of her slut nurses who look double their age, people who would not normally smoke will become smokers and because the outside door has to be kept open,i vomit 3 times in the night.
You people make smoking situations worse..you act as if ciggies are a treat like chocolate and a bag of salt 'n vinegar crisps.

I think this smokin ban has come in so companes can make loads of money off us from patches and other remedies. Its ridiculous!
If the government was so worried about our health why does it spend hundreds of millions on stupid things like space travel and defence when there are people dying everyday from curable diseases?
Its like, thousands of people die every year from road accidents but when there is a train crash its all over the news?

actually it can, businesses are gonna have to
- return unfair dismissal laws
- have to enter a collective bargianing agreement with a union
- recruit union memmbers
- provide employees with info about how to join a union
- let union officials go into our business and change anything they want
- re-employ workers that have been on strike
- Do anything the union wants you to do to your staff
- Tolerate the unions running your business
This means I will go out of business. My business is only developing games and paying a friend to sell them at school!
