I know for a fact tha R3A is already available in the Philippines for T39 (confirmed from those that already upraded). You can upgrade your ericsson phone in Semicon Head Office or at Ericsson in Ortigas. I should be ugrading my T39m soon - just don't have the time yet. Some guy posted on another forum that R3B is already available too - but I can't confirm that.

For the T68, the available firmware are R1C and R2A. R2A being the latest. Semicon does not have anything newer than this, which I verified yesterday. Don't know about SonyEricsson though. I will call them tomorrow. Please keep in mind that there are country-specific (or operator-specific) versions of the firmware. So it does not mean that when a particular version is released, it will be released in the Philippines.

No, I don't have plans to, since R1C on my phone is very stable. If I upgrade the new firmware must have compelling features, and I don't find any in R2A or R2B (based on previous posts).

Ferrarista, for me R2A will improve the speed of your GPRS, more crispier color especially for Games. And the last thing is, you can determine the type of missed call you have(whether is it a mobile, office, or home, etc).

It is free as long as your phone is under Warrant! You can go to Semicon Center at Marikina. Malapit sya sa Sta.Lucia East Mall. gud luck! ]:-o>
