@Beatrix,

I have consistent fonts, including phonebook list, and yes Tagalog is no longer in Settings -> Language -> Menus

Nelsongs, I'm using R2B and I upgraded my phone thru Smartnet also. I still have the Tagalog language in my menu and font consistency.

For those who upgraded R2B in Smartnet, aside from tagalog, what are the other languages available? thanks...

Thats it, inspite having the same version R2B, they have different languages packed with them! Because language is a country specific SW then Smartnet and Semicon are keeping different SW...

The firmware upgrade provided by Semicon is for Malaysian and Indonesian copy, while in Smartnet is for the SouthEast Asian copy which contains the Tagalog, Vietnam and some Other language...This is based on the post of other users in this forum.

Can anyone give a clear explanation over my observation. thanks...

for those with T68 gold, what firmware versions do you have? for those with R2B's T68 gold, do you have consistent fonts on your phonebook? any other things you have noticed after the upgrade? thanks.

hi mga kababayan!... pwede bang mag upgrade ng t68 dyan sa pinas pero binili dito sa states? Do they accept international warranty? ang hirap kasing mag upgrade dito sa states dahil it takes so long!... kailangan ko pa ipadala sa Minnesota para i upgrade. Wala kasi rito sa New York eh... matagal magpa upgrade ng SW dito sa states! kainis!... it takes almost a month bago nila ideliver uli sa iyo! give me some idea mga kababayan kung pwedeng mag pa upgrade dyan na binili dito sa states!...

my gray t68 updated at semicon has bahasa indonesion and English; LCD becomes yellowish but crispier and clearer

b4 the update i use to have eng, my or thai and viet

our Gold t68 updated at smartnet has english, malaysian or thai and viet
b4 update.... it has eng, my or thai and viet; LCD is the same as orig... not clear

Smartnet's Gilbert told me semicon has software updates for LCD kaya my gray's lcd was updated.

they do accept update on international phone, if the software in ur t68 is updatable w/ local version software (P1,650.00) fee. takes 1 hr at smartnet and semicon. but i suggest u have ur t68 updated at minnesota to be sure.
