I was surfing the net yesterday and ran across some ads that seemed like this guy's selling stolen goods, I knew it was a fraud, but I wanted to troll that guy, so I added his MSN and acted as if I was falling for his trap. Here's the log I compiled, enjoy! lol
(episode 1) Download the log in PDF format.
(You need Adobe Acrobat to view it)
and the story continues...
(episode 2) Scammer asking for Western Union receipt so I gave him one
(episode 3) Scammer went to the bank! lol
(episode 4) emailed the scammer the new Wester Union receipt, let's see what happens...
(episode 5) Scammer went to the bank again, lol
(episode 6) lol, dummest scammer ever! he is tricked into going to the bank AGAIN!
(episode 7) Scammer is back from the bank! Empty-handed and confused!!! lol
(episode 8 ) Yet, another receipt for the scammer to run to the bank and waits in the line for, lol
(episode 9) Western Union got tired of the scammer, scammer wants moneygram now...
(episode 10) Ok, I finally broke the news to this dumb scammer! LOL!
FRIENDLY ADVISE:
IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING A PHONE ONLINE WITH A PRICE THAT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, OR FROM SOMEONE ASKING YOU TO PAY VIA "WESTERN UNION", DON'T FALL FOR THEIR TRAP!!

I was suckerd into a scam once. It was before I was even registered on any forums. It was ordered through a site that looked really legit called Future Electonics. Anyway it was supposed to be based in Spain and I even spoke to them before ordering. I made the payment via direct bank transfer.
Anyway the phone never came and in the end it turned out the number they gave was based in Romania. I cant believe I spoke to the cheeky gits.
I never saw the phone or the money in the end but the silly thing is that the police had the bank account details ect but didnt do jack about it.
Jst thought id share that story with you now.

Oh man, that sucks! I almost got scammed once too, long time ago (about 4-5 years ago) When I was trying to buy a P800i or something. It was on ebay and everything looked legit, but when the seller ask me to Western Union the money to Romania, I SMELLED SOMETHING REALLY FISHY. I was really temped in sending him the money, good thing I didn't in the end.
Anyways, thanks for sharing! |

Hahaha, thats really awesome. Do you plan to take it further and get them into trouble?
I think you should talk to him again and say you lost their (fake) physical address, then say "is this it?" and write their actual, real, physical address. Then see what they do. From there you could give them all the shit you want, you have the upper hand now. You could threaten them even!
