i know this has been discussed in others thread, but not as it should. this is important to know because if you try to upgrade your phone with SEUS it will probably upgrade it to CID53 and you will have wait till it be broken as CID 36/49/51/52 were broken.
we already have a victim > XS+ FSX prob K800
there is also a thread in se-nse about this: ATTENTION! CID53!, Be careful with SEUS!
for possible solutions:
Tutorial | General Usage - Jdflasher, Idiot proof!(SE-NSE)
Flash K800 CID53 with K810 software CID53 (for begginers)(ESATO)
update jan 4th 09
now patches can be applied: How To Patching Your CID53 Phone

@aremaboy: we can just upgrade our phones with wotan? you know there are ppl who want to modify their phones rather than upgrade them.

Well this CID53 upgrade is ment to stop the modding of our phones in my opinion... That was the same case with the CID36 in the past. The K750s were CID36 until the modding started. Then started to manufacture then CID49... The W810 is the same case... CID49 and then CID50... So this is what is happening with the DB2020 series too... They had 3 CIDs in the beginning that were cracked (CID49, 51 and 52), so now releases a new kind of "protection" named as CID53 so we cannot mod our phones... But don't worry it will be cracked very soon (as usual) hahahaa

@whatsucka
about your dead CID36 W800... SEUS doesn't work with dead phones... It works only with fully functional working phones, just to update the firmware (and f*** up your CID ). Anyway your W800 can be repaired for sure if it is software problem. Have you tried flashing the MAIN and the FS... If not, a complete software flash can solve the issue for sure. It includes:
GDFS write (new gdfs)
flash EROM
flash MAIN
lash FS
customize...
But if the phone is not recognized by the PC when connected with DCU60 cable, you will need to look for service cable (cruiser works fine with CID36 W800s)...
