Sony Ericsson has expanded its best-selling Walkman™ phone portfolio to include the W302 designed to deliver music and much more to the masses. Building on successful and classic Walkman™ features, Sony Ericsson now introduces a phone that truly delivers beyond expectations.

Interesting to see its not running the A2 platform. It looks nice, though I think its a bit odd that the S302 has a play/pause button, yet this, the so-called Walkman variant doesn't.
It has the looks, just not the specs, despite SE insisting its perfect...

well what was S302 running on? I always thought it's a modified A100 platform...
honestly, for a low-end phone, this is as good as it gets. it's the mid & highenders SE needs to work on =(

Why? It's a much much lower spec device, using the looks of the W890i. Why is this an insult? No-ones being ripped off here... |

I've read that it is running on A200 platform but its has walkman 2.0 instead of walkman 3.0

It's actually pretty nice.
It's like a lower-end W880/W890. It's made out of plastic, but still slim. Making for an affordable and very easily pocketable walkman phone. |

And I bet it has better signal quality than the W890i, it is indeed an insult to people who bought a W890, I will be very cautious about the next Sony-Ericsson I buy. I find the firmware quite unstable, hopefully they can fix the issues with these new phones |
