The P1 does NOT support animated wallpapers. I tried.
When you select the animated picture and set it to wallpaper you'll get a normal (non-animated) image on your background.
And I think the images included in some themes are located at the C drive of your phone. Now I figured out how to locate the C drive I can start searching for those images.
Let you know if I found them! |

There is no way to use anumated wallpaper on UIQ phones atm... Anyway, this should be available as a mod if someone do it.

The problem is not with P1i, the problem is related to Symian/UIQ, one/or both does not support Animated gif as wallpapers, they will only show one frame, + they don't support swf wallpapers too ( and screen savers too ) as well is tiny SVG files...
so basically, untill Symbian or UIQ get the support for these, you will not be able to have animations in Wallpaper for UIQ phones ( P1 or any other one )...

The "skin" image is just the theme preview you see on that screen rather than a part of the theme as such

Animated wallpaper is eye-candy that would consume a lot of battery power (needs full screen refresh several times every second). BallRoom by CPS can provide partial animation.
