Nice thread.
One thing I'm still feeling ripped by - even with R3DA029 - when you set the Compo theme and enter the desktop, the phone starts to lag considerably when you scroll between menu icons. Not really an issue though.

Yes, it's true but probably this is due to the flash transition from one icon to another so it won't be better...

Yup, I noticed that on Compo, the transition animation is a pretty heavy one. |

Have updated this thread with new R3EA... Even if i've been disappointed for a while because there's not any new feature, I havo to say that all the bugs I found out in the past have been fixed so... Good...

I doubt the will add any new feature like smile shutter, or fixed geotagging. It is not SE's style. A pitty though, C510 a lower end model gets smile shutter and it has the same camera hardware as C702 so in theory they could add it for C702 and C90x models as well, but they won't because SE doesn't care once you bought your phone, which is a bad thing. The lack of updates is getting a bigger and bigger issue for me. Specially when the competition is doing exactly that was SE lacks, putting new features in older phones. Now that is service I would pay for. And yet like many others I stick with SE like a tame sheep. Ahwell

@blerk: It's a good thing that this kind of thread is only read by people like us. There are some people out there who will come and ruin the party just because they feel like it..
On topic: So the MAIN for this firmware is already available? Would really appreciate a link..

This I don't know, but can't you update via the SEUS??
However, about what blerk said... I'm not able to state what's the matter with geotagging, I renounced and keep the GPS disabled so it tags the photo only via Cell-ID... But it does so even with GPS on...
And about the new features... I already said it, SE demonstrated with the C905 firmware announcement that if they would they could upgrade software-wise every single A200 phone... But they simply don't, because in that case we won't change phone every year... And bla bla bla...
Damn Smile shutter and Chat view |

@Tekno
Haven't tried it yet, besides my internet connection really sucks nowadays, I'm just afraid my phone would die out if the update fails. With A2 Uploader flashing can always be repeated if things go wrong. Besides haven't really got the time, things have been really outta my hand the past 2 months or so.

I think, SEUS should not be problem - it has to download new fw, before flashing (it's my meaning - it would be crazy to do these two things at teh same time). So I guess, that if the fw is not completely downloaded, no flashing will happen...
Anyway, SEUS is oficial support, so should not be afraid about warranty like in "manual flashing".
Nowadays, I'm enjoying Elm, fw R7BA076. And here camdriver database for k750/w800/w810: www.camdrivers.wz.cz |

You can always put the original customize files back on your phone and reflash it with SEUS. Don't think SE can know or see that you had any mods or other things in there.

Thanks for confirming that, blerk. I always thought they use some kind of tracing program to track the things we do to our FS, including simple things like Flash menus that shouldn't be there...

Just to let you know that the activity key stops working sometimes. Restart needed. This been happening with 4 firmwares i've had.
