Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the new Camera Phone Shootout Competition. The theme of this month is:
CONTRAST
Rules are:
- The photo must be taken by the person entering.
- The photo must be taken during October 2010.
- Upload your entry to the Esato Photo Gallery and then link it to your post.
- You are allowed to change your entry once.
- Post processing is not allowed.

CONTRAST in the sense
picture with high contrast or picture with contraticting meaning (there's already one shoot out finished)
so its only to do with the high light with dark backgound and vice versa?? |

Hello, when says "Contrast" is about light high contrast or about object contrasting in the photo, Sorry still me without understand

I think she means light colors and dark colors as shown in the photo of the first post. You see a dark background and a light object closed-up.

One example of contrast can be one part of the photo is bright sunlight and the other part dark. Just one example

What is Contrast?
Contrast is the range of difference between different tones in a photograph. In black and white photography, contrast describes the difference between the darkest and lightest tones, but also defines the grayscale. In color photography, contrast applies to how sharply colors stand out from one another.

Contrast in light, like shine object with dark background
Or contrast color like black n white or green with purple?
