Samsung earlier this week announced the Galaxy Ace Plus mid-range Android smartphone
Esato News
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is a mid-range model with slightly better specifications that the pre-successor Samsung Galaxy Ace had. The two Galaxy models has similar features, except that the new Galaxy Ace Plus has an increased 3.65 inch display compared to the 3.5 found on the Galaxy Ace. The processor speed has also increased from 800 MHz to 1 GHz. Android 2.3 Gingerbread has been released since last year and Galaxy Ace Plus is of course running this version. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has also been release by Google, but we are not sure if the Galaxy Ace Pro is capable of running this latest version. With capable, we mean that the device might not meet Googles ICS hardware requirements. The original Galaxy Ace was announced in January 2011 and the few improvements done to the Galaxy Ace Plus over the Galaxy Ace does not impress us much. It is probably a smart move of Samsung to announce this mid-model ahead of the CES event taking place next week. Such an average model would drown in the buzz taking place next Tuesday.
