Hmmmm, interesting post!
Great that you are not going to reply to this thread anymore but I bet you can't resist a read of it, so...
I don't believe that...
a) that less than one week after the official UK launch (two weeks for Orange), that SE would be producing a new P800 which is so radically different than the current model, and
b) someone who works for the Carphone Warehouse would refer to it as the "car phone ware house" (you still haven't told me what a ware house is!).

You will notice I got my P800 on the 21st of Feb (release date for Orange).

In April there will be a major SW upgrade to UIQ 2.1
This upgrade includes among other things, implementation of color themes, better photo quality, better audio quality.
It will be a free upgrade to all P800's, throughout the world. |

I don't want to upset a colleague but a couple of things I will mention.
You said you did the upgrade in store? Well our repair centre's don't have SE authorisation yet to carry out upgrades let alone the proper firmware yet (Checked both scottish stores today, and as you know cpw has an advanced enough network to be able to send a few bits of firmware up to us) so I find it slightly hard to believe that a store that isn't a repair centre will be getting special treatment.
I have seen no mention of any special features either on Melon or in any emails, however as our branch sells our P800 stock faster than we can get it I haven't had a chance to check the specs of the one's we do get.
Now I am willing to be proven wrong, after all why not use the Demo 7650 that all stores are supposed to have, or the spv, s55, t68i etc and take a photo with that? Then email it to the webmail that cpw have provided you.....
Now I am not saying your making it up, but it is easy enough to prove it and silience all us critics |

Some very interesting points.
I wonder why, if SE are now supplying phones with this feature, that there is no mention of these significant new developments on their excellent, bang up-to-date website? |

I am prepared to believe he has a P800, I am prepared to believe he works for the Carphone Warehouse, even though he insists on calling it the "car phone ware house"...
...what I find hard to believe that he is either the only person in the world to have this phone, or is the only person to admit it.
Surely by now someone would have had a photo of it (at least the fake of a P800 with a toaster attachment had a photo to go with it!) |

Is this guy really from the UK???? And this is how he spells??? And he's actually employed?!??!?!?!
And he seems to have access to Q's new  phones because last I checked, not even Zao's P800 had night-vision and optical zoom (w/ moving lens as this guy claims) WOW!!! We have the real James Bond here ladies & gentlemen!!!!
