Hi,
Does anyone know how much One2One charge in the U.K to dial-up using the EricssonWap settings? It is a 08700 number. Is this charged at local\national rate and can I use my inclusive minutes for wap? One2One are very vague on this, I am not even sure what they charge to dial their standard wap gateway! Any ideas?
Thanks.

Yeah... I'd like to find out too.

I only signed up on a week ago, so haven't received my first bill yet.

Badger : I assume you're using the 0870 number from the Sony-Ericsson Portal ?

I only had my phone 10 days but got the bill yesterday. SonyEricsson WAP portal (08700)and T-Motion both cost 10p per min and do not come out of your inclusive minutes!!

Yeah i've had the t68 on one2one for few months now, and one2one do rip you off on the wap charges. Its 10p per minute at all times! Whats worse is they still haven't launched their gprs network (which'll probably make the costs cheaper), which according to their customer services was ready to be unvailed in December 2001. And the website update is still the one from July2001!

I just had my one2one bill (only had the phone for a week, and already had a bill)

I can confirm I've been charged at the rate of 10p per minute (approx)

example:
WAP call £0.095 - 1.07 (duration)

Quite annoying these are not part of my FREE minutes, unlike the dialup account I use (Telewest BlueYonder) for e-mail (POP3) which I use a 020 number instead of 0845 ... because a 0845 number is never free on your free time.

One2one are too busy becoming T mobile to worry about gprs! Orange wap is out of your minutes and them either 5 or 10 a min and 2 at weekends. If you can find national rate number you can get it for 1 off peak on ed50

You all should try genie, 300 sms, free wap, e-mail 2 phone, 5p/min weekend calls all for £10 month and best of all no contract!

its always best to contact your provider, and asks about your ceratin plan. I know with orange, some plans take wap calls from the inclusive minutes, and some dont. I even think you can select wheter wap minutes are inclusive or not.
But best to contact yor provider, they will know for sure
