P900 vs K700i |

Hi Folks,
I have an option to choose between a K700i and P900. I am thinking of getting the K700i but the expandability and flexibility offered by the P900 is tempting. I am using an Apple powerbook and would definitely want to sync my data (and even control some apps) from my 'book.
PDA is not much of an issue since I don't need it anyway
Camera is important
Bluetooth connectivity to Mac is very important

Althought the K700 IMO is a nicer phone, i think you'd be better off with a P900. PDA or not, you can add apps to it easier than the K700, which is Java MIDP2 only.

Well if you do not need the PDA and camera is important then the K700 has the edge. It has a better camera. Videos you can watch on your Apple book.

The K700 is the better choice for you if you don't need the PDA functions of P900. K700 has a better camera and you wrote, thats important to you, so in for it.

I had exactly the same dillemma, but in the end I went for the K700i because it has a better camera, built in flash, and the same MP3 and video features as the P900, also it is smaller and better looking!

The expandability is something that I am considering, too. I wish I could get both but it is just plain expensive - unless getting both will include the kitchen sink (if the P900 supports WiFi, I'd get it in an instant! hehe).
Thanks for the replies, folks - I think I will get the K700i! |

prof_x, did you get your phone yet? I have the same dilemna whether to get a K700i or a P900, do let me know how your phone works out for you, especially with regards to connecting to your Mac. (am assuming you're the same prof_x in the pinoymac / philmug forum?)
is it true that the P900 will be discontinued in favor of the P910? how soon will this be?

Am kind of leaning towards the P900 right now, the temptation is just too great. Do you guys know what is the going rate of P900 in greenhills or tiangges? Legal rate is Php 44,000 semicon.
