Brand New Firmware for the K700i just uploaded from the homeupdate service...
Don't know anything about it as I just uploaded it expecting to get "E" instead....but here is "J"... |

At least we may assume the home update service is now working then

sorry but I don't get it...what do you mean by home update service?..did you update it by yourself, or you brought it to a SE service center?

It should do, but bets are it will only upgrade to a newer version of the voda software. Hence the word automatic in the update mode. It checks your current version and type and updates the version with the same type.

because has never put their firmware for those models online on a publicly accesible place. Since to those phones already represent 'the past' it's not going to happen anymore anyway
