One of my worst (I have had a few the best will follow) brain drying jobs was on a potato farm (started 6am) sorting mud from the tatties but, me being me always looking to make that little bit more, I insisted I was paid in bags of potatoes and sold them at nights - nice when you've just got a mini! On the positive side I became a demon forklift driver.

Now @masseur don't jump straight in with the time you worked in reception at one of our (fine) Edinburgh 'Massage Parlours' and the degrading extras you had to perform

The worst job I've ever had was at the postoffice! I wont ever forget it... Get up at five in the morning, then sorting mail, haveing a five minutes brake. After the brake you'd sort some more mail then deliver it (or what it's called), get back to the office and sort even more post!

I worked in a newsagents during the summer holidays when i was still at school, it was 7 miles from my house and i had to be there at 5a.m., it was crappo! Cycled it every day, seven days a week! didnt open till 7 on a sunday tho! Worst bit was writing every old farts name on the papers, the old ****s complained bitterly if you spelt it wrongly! Old ******s!

I worked in a factory screwing Xerox copiers together, 26 an hour, mind-numbing but sore on the hands! Then i went to their other site where i had to install windows on new IBM's. pish.

When i was a kid i worked at jenners on princes street. I was a shelf stacker in the foodhall. We used to transport products from the groundfloor to the top in an elevator. I frequently would get huge boxes full of shortbread and crackers. I would take the stairs on such occasions, and "accidentally" drop the boxes down a flight or two. So if you ever bought shortbread from jenners and it was all broken and crumbly it was probably me. [addsig]

I'm working at my worst work.

I'm an IT-technician at a call-center with about 30 employees.

My duties are:

Make sure that all computers and telephony is working
Make orders if something is needed
Give computer support to all employees
Give ring-posts which the sellers are supposed to call
export and import ringposts
develop new systems
create and delete accounts for new sellers

What I'm also supposed to do:

make sure flowers doesn't die
carry out garbages
order other stuff that is needed (toiletpaper, chairs etc)
sometimes at lunch, stay att the office to make sure that the selles that stays there isn't stealing anything (my boss doesn't trust someone)
open the door with the doorphone
check how many sells the selles have done so my boss knows how much sallary they have.
remove posts for each seller that comes too late since they've agreed to give the company 100 kronors (one sell = 100 kronor) for each time they come late.

+ I work evening - 1 PM to about 10 PM

My worst job was the one i had before starting my nurse's training, which was in a warehouse that sold caravan heaters and spares.

My working day basically was filled by either taking caravan heaters out of the cardboard wrappings they came from the factory in, noting their serial numbers, and putting them into plastic tubs ready to go out to caravan manufacturers. Or, getting three components of a heater, and screwing them together with 16 screws.

So mind-numbingly boring it did literally bore me to tears! I REALLY hated that job!!!

Mind you, I'd rather have done that than have no job whatsoever! That really would drive me round the hat rack.

@MTNT68i as you are from DK was it mostly pigs?
One of my previous employers were Veterinary Surgeons and the second worst thing I had to do was, on a very hot summer's day, hold a pig down whilst the vet replaced and purse string sutured a RECTAL PROLAPSE!! I stank of the pig sweat and crap for at least 4 days - not good when your trying to pull on the Friday and Saturday night!
