The i-mate Jam (to be called the MDA Compact under T-Mobile's branding) is reminiscent of the Eten P300 in that it's a smaller-than-usual Windows Mobile device.
In fact, it's even smaller than the eten P300, measuring 108 x 58 x 18mm. It's got a 1.3-megpixel camera 64MB of ROM and 64MB of SDRAM. There's also Bluetooth (though it sounds like this could be an optional addition for carriers) and SD(IO)/MMC expansion. All that's missing is wireless and you'd have a perfect little smartphone. Pricing from T-Mobile is still to be confirmed, but you can buy it unlocked and SIM-Free from Expansys for £399.95 right now.

- i-Mate Jam
- T-Mobile MDA Compact

Just read Expansys' page, and it says it has Bluetooth 1.2, (as opposed to reg. 1.1), does anyone know what range this is?

Yep, it says MP3 in those specification lists just at the top in the pics that axxxr posted!
This is awesome, any sign of a cheaper purchase price anywhere?

It looks like Chinese company Dopod has released in China almost all latest HTC made cellphones under its own brand. The latest additions are HTC Magician (known in EU as T-Mobile MDA Compact) branded as Dopod 818 and HTC Feeler (known in EU as T-Mobile SDA) branded as Dopod 575. It slowly becomes boring to report about yet another distributor/operator branding the very same phone with yet another name, so to prettify these news items from series "HTC XYZ will be sold under name ABC" a bit,i present here some pictures of girls with a Dopod branded phone!
