K550i "exclusive" |

I know most of us love talking about high-end phones with super features but a lot of us can't afford them and buy something cheaper.
The K550i is just the logical sucsessor of the K500i. My guess would be a phone like the K600 without BT, 3G and the second cam. It would still have a 1.3Mp cam and the same amount of memory and USB connectivity hopefully mini-usb port.
My thought is Esato should be the first to talk about it, discuss it, disect it, flame every missing feature, praise every present feature and have lots of fun without even knowing one shred of facts concerning this phone. Since we don't even know what its codename is lets start by guessing that, other less important features can wait till later  |

I really dont think it would make sense to bring out a k550i...because the features would be worse that a phone they brought out a year before = K700i!! and by the time the k550i comes out the k700i price will have dropped enough for people to by it over the k550i...

It won't be better than the K700 it would be slightly worse, that's if you think bluetooth is important and they would use the same screen but maybe a little less memory.
With graphics cards they don't worry about this generation's mid-range is better than last generation's high end, people most often prefer a new model even if its not better. And you can't deny the K700 has some design flaws like the connector cover and a better joystick would be nice too. |

my point is that now you can get k700i for about 250€ (or about 150gbp in uk?), and if sony ericsson are to bring out a k550i, it would have to be under that price, otherwise its not worth making it!! and to be honest less that 150gbp for a phone thats just been brought out with those features would be reaaaaally cheap...to cheap to be true i supose...

yeah see your point but they could release it as a flip phone version of the k500i and be a replacement for the z500 all in one go |

The K500 and CX65 were very close in specs and seemed to be perfect competitors but with the CX75 is the K550 going to be a rival?? |

262K TFT at 132 x 176 pixels
White keypad backlight
1 Mpx Cam
Mini USB Support or BT Support
FM Radio
35 MB memory
I think this can be a appropriate little brother to K750i

Acyually I think the K550 is going to be a rival of the CX75.
It should have
220*176, 16-bit screen
FM radio with RDS
1.3MP camera like K600
Either big memory 90MB or support for MSD and of course NOT the pro version so up to 256MB only
The new connector, which is basically a USB 2,0 port just in a way suitable for a docking station. After all it would be cheaper than a seperate USB port.
Bluetooth, it should be here too.
And if we're lucky they'll be variations of the K550, like W600, S500 
Of course these are just guesses for possible products. And it was Eldar I think that said the K550 would be almost like CX75 so I guess this is how it would logically be. Of course eventually we'll be playing more games and looking for leaked pics, I hope the Keypad is better than the K500 espesially the lighting. |

Isnt the K600 a K500 update?
Anyhows, it could be on the way, there are many more models being released this year. So i am told...

The K600 is 3G and is more of a K700 with 3G. And even if it were we still need a 2.5G upgrade of the K500. |
