This one really makes me want to hate the W800 but KDDI and SONY Ericson will launch a new model, the AU W31S, in Japan on April 10th, and it will also act as a audio player and 2MP (CMOS) digital camera.
Battery life : 190 minutes talktime; 250 hours stand-by
Dimensions : 107x50x26mm
Weight : 136gr

Thats all just rumours and gossip at this time...no one knows for sure yet..Anyway how can this be the slimmed down version of the S700?..looks nothing like it!

why do you stab my beating heart by saying its being released in japan....that can only mean one thing..........no european version.......unless its like the S10101 or woteva and then the S700 european...i dunno

Anyone knows full specs of this???
Looks pretty cool, but it wonīt compete with w800, itīs different - 136g is much more than the w800 weight, not all people will want that (i wonīt)
