perhaps a translated page would provide more useful information. Currently I can only make assumptions based on the name and the screenshots...

I have used it, this is how it works:
you scan your filesystem, when that is done, you can install some application, after that you click find changes, then you will see where all the files for the installion. You can also use this to see what files some app uses, scan your system and open a app, after that let junstaller find what files were used.
The use for this is thah you can find what files vere installed and you can remove them all manually. Its pretty good because you wont fill up of junk. I have also heard about that people remove trial files and installing the app again, also have I heard about crackers who I know who use it. But of course thats illegal and I strongly NOT recommend that.
Personally I create record every time I install a app, so I can be able to remove it completely from my filesystem later. Because I have tested and DiskCleaner doesnt remove them all

gardar I have some questions about jUninstaller which i don't understand.
1. will it uninstall the program if check any file and tap on the "uninstall" ? yes!
2. What will happen if i select a file and tap on "remove" ? I think you will only remove it from the record.
3. what are those "+" , "-" , "*" actually means ? I dont really know but I think it is something like this: Some of the marks means it will remove when its removed by regular way. and some other marks will mean it will not be removed... thats what I think...
Thanks...

After startup of jUninstaller click on "Monitor new" and then "Scan disks".
When the scan is complete, just install the application you want to monitor. Start the new application once and play around a bit so that all data files get created. But don't add any other files to your phone until you performed "Find changes".
After that, go back to jUninstaller -> Monitor new and click on "Find changes". If this is done, you will be prompted for a name of the log. This is usually the name of the application you just installed.
Repeat these steps for any installation you do. If you want to install some apps at once, you can speed up the process by clicking "Find changes and update scan" - this is just as if you click "Find changes" and "Scan disks" - but it's faster.
Now, if you want to uninstall an application, do so with the internal uninstaller. After that, go to jUninstaller, select the log of the just uninstalled application and click on "View".
You will see a list with all files which were added ("+"), modified ("*") or removed ("-") during the installation of the app. Most entries should now read "+!" which means they were added during installation and are now removed (by the internal uninstaller). If there is an entry with only a "+", this means this file was left by the internal uninstaller. You can delete it manually by selecting it and clicking "Del". (If you click "remove", you will only remove this entry from the log. The file itself will stay untouched.)
Future versions will be able to completely uninstall an application with no need for the internal uninstaller.
ronis hat folgendes geschrieben::
Why jUninstaller is better that standard uninstaller of P910i?
It isn't. jUninstaller is meant as an addition to the internal uninstaller. Because more and more developers hide settings of their apps somewhere and the internal uninstaller doesn't remove them. This is mainly used for tracking whether you already tested a shareware app. (So that it's useless to reinstall the app to extend the evaluation time.)
And if you often try new software (like me), there will be more and more junk files on your phone.
To remove them, you can use jUninstaller.

Will this utility program identify files left over from previous installations prior to it being installed? If not, would it be safe to assume you should install this first before installing any 3rd party app? I have installed it and can not see any residual files from deleted software. I am thinking of performing a master reset and then installing Junistaller first. Then I would reinstall all my 3rd party apps. Does that sound like a good idea? |
