Interesting, i was aware that RED36 phones could not be flashed with by normal means - sure with a TP solution. Or we have to wait until one clever person makes patched loaders for this phone. |

I thought you were getting it from another phone?
I am only saying that its not possible to fash/unlock this phone as people may see this thread and think, yeh i will go and get myself some credits. Then they will start moaning when the phone is not supported. |

It will be straight forwards in some time, but as yet there is no public solution to service true CID36 phone (all phones made after a certain date are CID36 - forgot when ) |

I don't know about TMS, but DaVinci can flash any K700 and K300 with R2AL029 no matter if the CID is 29 or 36. The solution is simple: First you flash the phone with a small file that fakes the CID to 36 (available at their download site). So, any K700 and K300 looks like a CID36 and can be flashed with R2AL029. |

@cyber
Please note "true CID36"
No way can any public thing flash a trues CID36 phone.
You are talking about CID29 phones that have been flashed with CID36 firmware through seus or davinci or whatever. They show CID36 when software detects firmware but in OTP phone cannot be CID36.

@gbrooks3
Correct - but I think the original poster was talking about phones being able to be flashed with R2AL029 using TMS... he wasn't talking about the specific CID36 problem [and probably knows nothing about the problem with CID36 at all]... many many phones out there have CID29 and are in fact flashable using [at least] DaVinci [to my knowledge] using a special file that fakes the CID...
DaVinci has provided R2AL029 for K700 and K300 for quite some time now...
Btw, congrats to you now being a "moderator" at mobile files |

I wasnt aware that there were K300i phones that were not CID36 - i thought they were all CID 36?
All i can keep saying that ANY phone that is CID36 in OTP cannot be flashed by davinci yet.
