Well, your phone needs to contain a CID36 certificate first. And davinci seem not to offer this for the V800. I could maybe suggest that you try upgrading the phone with SEUS and then try with Davinci - If there is still a CID mismatch then maybe you could send a request to Davinci people.

Hi, I am still confused. I got myself a DSS-25... How do I convert my V800 to Z800 with davinci? The CID is now different. Do I just select the Z800 firmware and flash?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help...

I'm under the impression that DaVinci cannot do this yet, but I've heard this may be changing from next week... [addsig]

Hi! Davinci with Client 13.0 converts your CID29 v800/v802 into CID 36 first and flashes it with the CID36 firmware. The whole process is automatic and you do not have to take out the battery after stage 2.

I have flashed my v802 to z800 last week with Davinci and the firmware version is R1Y005.

Cheers
