On 18 May 16:11 smellycat wrote ho god n95 sucks, my friend has one its slow heavy, hard very hard and foolish to use. i cant belive its the top selling phone. all i did with the phone is i switched on bluetooth and tried to connect it from my phone. you know what happened the phone hung he had to pull out the batt and switch it on again. n95 is just to show of not to enjoy. On 18 May 00:34 ExNokiaFan wrote i've had many Nokia phones and i have to say that the S60 models have always been bad. when all the news started to come out about the new N range, i just had to have one. i eventually bought an N70 which caused me noting but problems. after 6 months, i finally convinced my service providers to allow me to upgrade early so i signed a new contract and upgraded to an N80. this was the worst decission of my life. this phone caused more problems than the last but i could not ask my provider to upgrade again so i ended up buying an K750i on PAYG and just swapped the sim from my contract phone. this phone has been great ever since and i wish i chose Sony Ericsson on my contract. the major problems with my N phones was battery life and always resetting themselves every time you tru to do something. i heard that the N90 is also very bad so dont make the same misstake as me. On 17 May 18:50 waleedfaisal wrote n95 the most amazing phone until now On 16 May 15:41 N95owner wrote yeah, avoid this at all cost. i had got mine on an 18month contract and i had to go back to using my old phone (K800i) after only a few weeks. the battery is very week and software very buggy. the GPS doesnt work great and the cam is worse than my K800. this is a very bad phone. dont believe the hype. DON'T BUY IT!! On 16 May 05:06 puppetmaster wrote the problem with Nokia is that is always tries to be the market leader in terms of specification but that's just words. the 5MP cam on this may be higher resalution than any other phone currently but the K800/810 3.2MP cam is much better than the N95 pixel for pixel by quite a margin. the GPS in this phone is purely for the sake for specification because it AWFUL. they put 802.11g in it for the sake of spec too as no-one needs to access the net on a phone at 54Mb/s. the P990 has 802.11b which is 11Mb/s, and this is perfectly fine since most of us dont even have 11Mb+ broadband connection to our routers. yes is has HSDPA, but this phone will be old hat before this becomes mainstream. again.. another feature for the sake of specification. this phone offers nothing worth having. it doesnt even have a touch screen or a qwerty keyboard (wtf?). this is just about the most laughable attempt at making "the best phone there is" because it clearly isnt. want a camers phone? buy a K800/810. want a music phone? K850 tops the lot. want a proper smart phone for e-mailing and good internet browsing? P990 tops them all with HTC windows based coming a close 2nd. in my opinion people only buy Nokia because their fooled into believing that the market leader (in terms of volume of phones sold) is actually the best at making them. On 15 May 12:05 Vijay wrote n95 is the best phone we are getting nowadays. On 15 May 09:22 fahad wrote wonderful fantastic On 9 May 18:49 adv wrote se p1 is out now its bye bye to n95. On 6 May 10:56 David wrote Well I have been an SE man for about the last 6 phones, as mentioned above, I am one of those peopel who thought I would never own another Nokia. But SE have nothing that competes with the N95. True, the GPS sucks on this phone but as I have Tomtom I will only need the GPS for showing off or in an emergency. When I first had the phone last week I hated it, I was very close to taking it back, but now I have upgraded the Firmware and got more used to it I am beginning to love it. Still slightly dissapointed with the speed of it though, On 6 May 09:17 sony wrote sony sony sony. sony is the best weather its a cellphone, playstation, psp, wega, bravia, sonyhi-fi, audiosystems, walkman, cybershot, sonyvaio or what ever its is sony is the best. no doubt about it. On 6 May 08:19 justofferingyouthetr wrote nokia and good looking no way. the phone may be good but looks i think so, moto and sony makes the best looking phones. nokia has a comparitatily bad hardware. i dont think n95 even gets in my pocket. k750i, k800i or wseries are better in size looks and quality and dam easy to use. after all se is the best. On 5 May 15:01 MAC wrote N95 looks great. Luks better than many other SE phone. On 5 May 07:59 GeorgeW wrote That's it! Only losers buy SE phones! On 4 May 10:41 sp wrote which ever phone cumes N95 is the best..i am using it On 4 May 10:23 tonychew wrote I hear ya.. I gave up on WM totally after using this device. As for touch screen, SE has a corner on that market... it's called UIQ... and if the 990 is any representation of it, they'll have a very good product... only IF, and that seems to be a very HUGE BIG IF, they realize the cute amount of memory they put in it ain't doing them no favors among users... On 4 May 10:03 eG wrote Gandphar fone hay amit! On 4 May 08:48 PE wrote Ref adviser. You really love SE don't you. Why don't you to just get a room together!!!! VERY SAD!!!!!!!!! On 3 May 23:17 lj wrote se is becoming stupid these days i have to admit ............. though at some point of time i used to love se phones , but that lasted till k750 which i still have ........... what a pity for such a company which could have done soo damn good now it sucks big time for calling w880 a fashion fone with such bland taste se designers should be fired On 3 May 20:09 Abs wrote This device surely shows the convergence of technologies into one solid device. The sales figures show the current rate of appreciation and knowledge people have of their devices. Why is it that mobile phone makers keep adding or improving features in their mobile phones each year. The N95 is a sign of the future. I love SE and they should start walking up and stop being stingy with great comm technologies like wifi and HSPDA. Wake up SE! These are not for the Pseries anymore. Put them in your walkman and cybershot line and you'll rule the world. Time to learn some lessons from the competition.. On 3 May 19:41 haha wrote you say i give you n95 i say noooooooooo. i want sek800i On 3 May 19:19 adviser wrote come on its just in uk who cares. n95 is not a good phone its got tons of problems in it. i bet the sales will fall very soon. nokia makes tons and tons of new models every 6months how can you expect good stuff from them. look at the shape of the phone yak. sucks. On 3 May 15:32 keys wrote apart from a few bugs, which is expected. quite a sublime piece of kit. Much better than the ill-faited P990 though. I would rather go for SE K800i cybershot thatn this one. Nokia needs to improve a lot in every models. its still conventional yet outdated On 3 May 08:09 adeem wrote toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much problems in it low battery gps sucks sensitive camera is very slow when taking pic in autofocus mode sonyericsson autofocus is very fast and clear soud jut like other n70 and 6630 no improvement battery is the biggest problem and phone get hot sometime after that i put out the batter for 15 mins then i restart it that is my frst nokia phone really bad experince sonyericsson is tooo good then other taking this model n95 its just a waste of money because i buy that for GPS but gps is not working with out may 220 dollar yearly no voice no nothing if i pay 220 dollar yearly then its good if i buy one good GPS with everything in 200 dollars On 3 May 05:41 p990i wrote N95 is a good phone but i really love the touchscreen. If nokia can make a version of a N95 with touchscreen i will surely go for it(without bugs ofcourse) On 3 May 02:57 SeF wrote what if SE should follow this way in a better strategy? a walkman series packed with features and a business M/P-series with similar features to the walkman in a different form? On 2 May 20:45 Dogmann wrote Well to be honest this is no surprise although even i will admit to being amazed and shocked at just how popular this device is. It really seems to have inspired people to try an S60 device even those that until now never thought they would get a Nokia. Marc |
