Since installing Windows 7 Premium onto my Vista laptop, my sony ericsson mobile phone (w995) will not be recognized by my laptop via a USB cable like it once did on Vista. I downloaded the correct drivers from the sony ericsson site but still not having any luck. Instead, upon looking at the devices - there is repeatidly a sony ericsson driver 'installed' around 200 times! I spent over half an hour deleting each driver one by one to start afresh, restarted my laptop and as soon as I came to desktop view my laptop automatically began installing 200+ of these drivers again out of nowhere and without my phone being plugged into the laptop, each stating the installation was unsuccsesful.
My USB ports are all in good working order as I tested other non-sony ericsson devices in them. Its just my phone that won't work. Do you have any idea why this is happening or what can be done? |

What are you trying to do? Mass storage or PC suite?

Pc Suit. Tried Mass Storage and my phone flashes, then turns off. When it comes back on nothing happens then it goes to the connection options again. |
