Manage to install a black theme but, i kinda disapointed.. not everything was skinned so it looks like crap anyways

and themes was the only thing i could think of i wanted to be able to do with root

so i will "un-root" and wait for the 2.1 update

I've rooted then I un-rooted.

The reason why was because wavesecure has added a feature that allows you to switch on the GPS on your phone remotely, so it can be tracked to within a few metres, should it be stolen, lost etc, and it only works on rooted phones.

However, it requires Amon RA or Clockworkmod which I can't seem to find.

I know, wouldn't that be sweet.

Well I was thinking that now the battery issue is sorted out on the X10 I can afford to leave gps on all the time anyway so if it does go missing, it'll be trackable.

Yeah 026 is nice but not all 026 has solved the battery issue, by friend who is on www.tre.se her battery drains 50% faster than mine, so she hopes for the 2.1 update.

Guys, is there anyway to use the easy root method linked in the 1st post and get X10A firmware? I ask because I have read that if you debrand your X10a with X10i firmware, SEUS won't update it anymore. I have an ATT X10a.

Thanks!

Did you manage to unstall the theme? i used the "restore" and it kinda worked, my "mediascape" page is still black.. and i have no idea how to remote it, but if i still can update to 2.2 i does not mather don't want to sabotage the phone more than necessary
